Current News in the US

The US office has introduced a new dynamic product entitled A Day in the Life of a Manager. This new product was created as a result of a need expressed by several client companies in North America. It uses a realistic simulation of the complexities that managers face in a future management position, customized to fit to the client company’s culture. This gives organizations the opportunity to assess high potential individual contributors in a one-day program before they are promoted. Recent initiatives have also led us towards increasing our presence on the West Coast and in several locations in South America. Scitrain is also in talks with local universities to expand its collaboration with educational institutions for research purposes. These collaborations also serve as an opportunity for local students to intern with Scitrain.

Current News in Germany

Our German office has launched powerful online diagnostic instruments for leadership development. The LEADER Situational Judgment Test measures decision-making abilities in different areas of leadership and the SUCCEED Leadership Styles Inventory gives leaders insight into their leadership styles when faced with different situations. These questionnaires have the flexibility of being implemented either as a standalone tool or as a building block within an assessment center. The German office delivery has expanded to include more cities in Europe and our very first Center in Istanbul, Turkey. Coming up, we will be delivering our centers to locations in West Asia. The German office has also been actively engaged in enhancing university collaborations and has renewed ties with several universities by initiating new research projects. One such project, Wertflex, is a 3-year project with the University of Bamberg and TU Berlin that examines how employees can help create and sustain a strong innovation culture in their company.

Current News in Hong Kong

Our Hong Kong office has enhanced its network partners in recent times and expanded the delivery of Assessment Centers and Trainings in Mainland China and Singapore. Going forward, our Hong Kong office is focusing increasingly on delivering to clients in multiple locations of Mainland China. Interactions with East and South East Asian organizations suggest a strong trend reversal with respect to human resources development. Instead of using only basic services such as stripped down versions of Assessment Centers, clients there are seeking full-scale development planning. The result: Companies are now implementing fully-structured talent management programs that include Development Centers, Succession Planning, Coaching and Focused Trainings.
