The Principle

Scientific research shows: Past behavior is the best predictor for future behavior. If you want to know whether an applicant will be successful in a job, you should therefore take a closer look at the applicant’s biography.

The Biographical Questionnaire is a standardized resume.

Facts from all relevant areas of an applicant’s professional and personal history are assessed systematically. The questions used in the BQO are adapted to the target group to ensure maximum accuracy of the hiring recommendation. In contrast to a self-made resume or CV, the BQO assesses biographical data comprehensively. A maximum of information guarantees high predictive power and maximum comparability between the applicants.

Evaluation and scoring of the answers is conducted automatically, based on empirically tested sophisticated methods of data analysis.

Applicants’ answers are weighted according to their predictive power for the job. Thus, the overall hiring recommendation generated by the BQO ensures maximum predictive power.

Applicants’ privacy is protected.

Subjective attitudes, ethnicity, and information about family members are not assessed in the BQO. Information, which can be used to discriminate against applicants on the basis of race, gender, or ethnicity, is not assessed. All data gathered through the BQO is protected and encrypted through sophisticated data security mechanisms.
